For "Garden Song" I invited to do the piano line Nicole Hale, who did such a great job in capturing the mood of what I wanted to bring. Also I had two great friends play Cello And then alternated and mixed the different melodies they created.

Lyrics

GARDEN SONG

Oh what to do, what to do, what to do
In the morning, by the garden?
When the blue jay, the squirrel, the spider, they all ask:
-Well, have you? Have you kissed her
Then they see I'm all sad, haven't eaten, teary eyes
-Boy you're lonely, she must be lonely
But we thought that you two were becoming good friends
Love was growing, we saw it growing.

Let time do its part,
it seems for now you are
parting ways, let the sun decide
The drop of blood that
you have exchanged will remain inside
The hearts are seeded
Now just wait silently
It is fine

Yeah, is that she seems to be wrapped by the wings
of a dark dream, a very dark dream
Then the squirrel slaps me, frustrated they all say:
Man she's fighting, she is really fighting.
Oh it's this rupture that unfolds the sadness,
The longing, this ancient longing
-The only thing you can do is to trust, to let go
But man we've told you, we already told you.

Let time do its part
embrace all things life
has for you, know you'll stand upright
the hurt that you feel
In your soul will become new life
The wounds and bruises
Happen right before
You find light.

(I hope so)

Meanwhile has gotten dark
Do you remember when we used to walk
In the springtime of our love
You're a little bee buzzing its wings in my soul

The ocean is waiting
For us to swim in its blue mouth
He'll whisper lovingly
The mystery of who we are

Oh thank you God; for her eyes, for her flame,
For this feeling that I'm feeling
Something in me tells me to go find you my friend
You receive me, your arms receive me
This is us walking into the unknown like a train,
Next stop the future, let's be our future
From the bushes I hear the mountain lion who says:
You take it slowly, it's truest slowly

Let time show it's light,
Beware of falling
into illusion of our soul's desire
Spirit light will
Guide you when you happen to be lost
Striving for truth
Has been shared intimately
It's love.

Meanwhile our destinies
Are shaking hands, smiling, looking into their eyes.
Our love is the cosmos child
How many lives do we have to kiss our hearts?

The ocean has challenged us
To swim across its seas of truth
We'll do it singly,
I find you once we are in firm ground.
